2023 -2024 - Communications Director, Ekō

Remote/Global

Led strategic communications to elevate Ekō’s visibility and drive global impact. Overaw high-impact campaigns, media relations, and branding initiatives, effectively engaging a 20-million-member base. Guided executive leadership on communications strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. Managed staff training and media coaching to maintain consistency and amplify Ekō’s message across channels. Directed a comprehensive rebranding effort, including a name change, visual identity overhaul, and public launch.

2019 - 2023 - Digital Production Manager, Ekō

Contracted and led a global network of 30+ creative vendors, coordinating complex projects across time zones, including video production, graphic design, photography, and animation. Directed social media content strategy, increasing followers by over 150,000 through a strategic blend of organic and paid campaigns. Oversaw creative direction, video production, and client relations, positioning the agency as a trusted partner for impactful storytelling. Managed a team to deliver compelling, mission-aligned video content that boosted client outreach and engagement.

2014 - 2018 - Freelance Video Producer, Dogwood Alliance

Produced and edited short documentaries and social videos spotlighting communities impacted by industrial logging in the US South. Developed narratives to raise awareness, mobilize support, and drive fundraising for climate action and environmental justice, highlighting the connection between forest conservation, climate resilience, and historical injustices affecting BIPOC communities.

2015 - 2017 - Director of Photography, Climate Listening Project

Filmed and edited an award-winning documentary series focused on climate resilience, blending climate science with personal stories to engage diverse audiences. Garnered over a dozen film festival awards, recognized for advancing climate awareness globally.
